This policy describes how personal data is processed in connection with this website and with the legal services provided, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act.

2. What data is processed

Data you provide when contacting me — name, phone number, email address and the information you describe in connection with your case.
Data necessary for the performance of a legal services agreement, including data contained in the documents you submit.
Technical data: This website does not use analytics tools and does not set tracking cookies. As the website has no web contact form, communication takes place through the direct contact details provided (email and phone).

3. Purposes and lawful bases

Responding to your enquiry — on the basis of your request prior to entering into a contract.
Providing legal assistance and representation in proceedings — performance of a contract.
Compliance with legal obligations, including under the Bar Act and the Measures Against Money Laundering Act — legal obligation.

4. Attorney-client privilege

All information and documents entrusted to me are covered by attorney-client privilege within the meaning of the Bar Act and are not disclosed to third parties, except in the cases expressly provided for by law.

5. Retention periods

Correspondence and documents relating to your case are retained for the duration of the legal services agreement, as well as for a further period of 5 years after its conclusion (in order to protect against legal claims and to comply with applicable limitation periods). To the extent another statute (for example, accounting legislation) requires certain documents to be kept for a longer period, that requirement is observed independently of this policy.

6. Recipients of the data

Personal data is disclosed only where this is necessary to protect your interests or is required by law — for example to courts, public authorities, notaries and enforcement agents. I do not currently use any external service providers who are given access to clients' personal data (e.g. accounting, technical support). This policy will be updated if that changes.

7. Your rights

In respect of your personal data you have the right to:

access to the data and a copy of it;
rectification of inaccurate data;
erasure, to the extent this does not conflict with a legal obligation;
restriction of processing;
data portability;
object to the processing.

These rights are exercised by submitting a request to the contact details stated above. A response is provided within one month.

8. Cookies

This website does not use cookies for tracking, advertising or analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, in the course of which your IP address is transmitted to the provider (on the basis of a legitimate interest in ensuring the correct display and design of the website). If analytics tools or a contact form are added in the future, this section will be updated accordingly.

9. Complaints
